Today the league announced who the first players placed on waivers were. 25 players were released from rosters, with 11 players now eligible to accept contract or camp invites from other PWHL teams before the first Waiver window ends December 2. A second waiver window will occur between Dec. 8-10, in advance of the league’s final roster deadline of Dec. 11. Final rosters must include 23 players signed to Standard Player Agreements, plus two Reserve Player Contracts. Any drafted players who go unsigned or unclaimed during either waiver period will revert to their original team's protected list."
