PWHL New York head coach Howie Draper talks about the highs and lows of his team's preseason debut. PWHL New York stepped on the ice and dominated against Montreal from start to finish in their preseason debut. As coach Howie Draper explained, there were "moments of brilliance," but also moments where his team was not so brilliant. Draper believes his team "learned a lot about ourselves about about what's to come" in the opening game, that saw his team outshoot Montreal 33-25, including allowing only four shots against in the second period. Abbey Levy posted a shutout through regulation and overtime with New York finishing 3-0 after regulation, 4-0 after the overtime, before losing a shootout exhibition to Montreal.
