14 Players and multiple Florida coaches among AHL Alumni

The Florida Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers to take home the 2024 Stanley Cup, and they did so on the backs of several AHL alumni.
20 skaters and two goalies played a game in the playoffs for the Florida Panthers during their run, 13 of those skaters and goaltender Anthony Stolarz played at least one AHL game.
Eight other skaters appeared in at least one regular season game for the Panthers during the season, all of whom have previously played in the AHL.
The Panthers are allowed to etch 52 names onto the Cup itself, in order for a skater to automatically qualify they must have played 41 regular season games or a game in the Cup Final, so not all of these AHL alumni will have their name on the Cup, but they contributed to the run.
Florida General Manager Bill Zito served as General Manager of the Lake Erie/Cleveland Monsters for four seasons, winning the Calder Cup in 2016. Head Coach Paul Maurice was behind the bench for the Toronto Marlies in 2005-06.
Three of the Panthers assistant Coaches, Myles Fee, Jamie Kompon, and Sylvain Lefebvre, have coached in the AHL. Lefebvre also played parts of three seasons in the league.
Brandon Montour, Nick Cousins, and Anthony Stolarz were all previously AHL All-Stars, while Steven Lorentz, Zito, and Fee have all won the Calder Cup. Carter Verhaeghe led the league in scoring for the 2018-19 season.
