The defending Calder Cup champion Abbotsford Canucks have signed goaltender Jonathan Lemieux and forwards Ben Berard and Zachary Okabe to AHL contract extensions for the 2025-26 season.
Lemieux had a 14-19-4 record with a .905 SP and a 3.08 GAA for the Canucks' ECHL affiliate Kalamazoo Wings last season.
The 24-year-old originally joined the organization in 2023 after a dominant season with USports' Concordia University.
He has a 31-35-7 record with a .908 SP in 79 ECHL appearances. He will look to crack the AHL roster in a crowded Canucks goalie pipeline.
Berard notched two goals in four games with Abbotsford and 40 points in 47 games with Kalamazoo last season.
The 26-year-old joined the organization in 2024 after four seasons at Cornell University and parts of two seasons with the Texas Stars.
The Duncan, B.C., native has three goals and seven points in 37 career AHL games.
Okabe recorded 19 goals and 41 points in 72 games for the Kalamazoo Wings last season.
The 24-year-old joined the Canucks after five seasons at St. Cloud State University and recorded two goals and three points in nine games with the Cleveland Monsters in 2023-24.
