The Ontario Reign announced they have signed forward Bryce Brodzinski to a one-year AHL contract for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Brodzinski served as one of the captains of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers last season where he tied for the team-lead in scoring with 36 points in 39 games.

After completing his fifth NCAA season Brodzinski sits as the all-time games played leader for Minnesota with 185. He recorded 60 goals and 119 points in his time with the Golden Gophers, taking home the B1G Championship in 2021.

Originally selected in the seventh round of the 2019 draft by the Philadelphia Flyers, Brodzinski became a free agent on August 15th after not being offered an entry level contract.

The Blaine, MN, native won the 2018-19 Mr. Hockey Award as the top high school senior in the state of Minnesota.

Brodzinski will get his first taste of professional experience with a Reign team that lost in the third round of the Calder Cup playoffs last season and have high expectations heading into 2024-25.

Bryce's brother Jonny played four seasons for the Reign from 2015-19 before joining the San Jose Sharks and New York Rangers.
