Rosen leads Rochester in scoring this season, Levi has a 2-5 record with an .870 SV% and 3.95 GAA with the Sabres

The Buffalo Sabres have recalled forward Isak Rosen and loaned goaltender Devon Levi to their AHL affiliate Rochester Americans.

Rosen has recorded four goals and added nine assists in 14 games with Rochester this season, while Levi has posted a 2-5 record with an .870 SV% and 3.95 GAA with the Sabres.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen has played well to begin the season and the Sabres recently claimed veteran goaltender James Reimer off waivers, which allows them to send Levi to the AHL to get more playing time and gain some confidence.

Rosen leads the Americans in scoring and will join the Sabres for their upcoming road trip through California.

The 14th overall selection in the 2021 draft, Rosen went pointless in seven games with the Sabres last season and notched 20 goals and 50 points in 67 games in the AHL.

A two-time Mike Richter Award winner as NCAA Top Collegiate Goaltender, Levi's first chance to play for the Americans comes Nov. 20 against the Laval Rocket.

Rochester sits at 7-5-2 and have received solid goaltending from Michael Houser and Felix Sandstrom, but Levi should provide a clear upgrade.
