

The Calgary Wranglers announced Adam Klapka has been returned to the team and that they have signed goaltender Arsenii Sergeev to an Amateur Tryout (ATO).
Klapka recorded 14 goals and 26 points in 33 games with the Wranglers and six goals and 10 points in 31 games with the Flames this season.
The 24-year-old has amassed 48 goals, 97 points and 220 penalty minutes in 158 career AHL games.
After an impressive showing with the Flames Klapka has an opportunity to build on his strong AHL numbers and continue playing into the spring.
The Praha, CZE., native is expected to join the team prior to their second game against the Coachella Valley Firebirds on Apr. 26.
A seventh round selection of the Flames in 2021, Sergeev spent the season with the Penn State Nittany Lions, finishing with a record of 19-9-4 with a .919 SP, 2.54 GAA and four shutouts.
The 22-year-old played a major role in Penn State's first ever run to the NCAA Frozen Four. He was named to the Big 10 Second All-Star Team this season.
Sergeev spent two seasons at the University of Connecticut before joining Penn State. He totaled a record of 38-23-5 with a 2.60 GAA and .919 SP in three NCAA seasons.
He joins the Wranglers after signing an entry level deal with the Flames on Apr. 14.
The Wranglers dropped game one of their best-of-three series against the Coachella Valley Firebirds in triple overtime.
