

The Pacific Division Finals between the Coachella Valley Firebirds and Ontario Reign begins Wednesday.
Coachella Valley finished atop the division with a record of 46-15-6-5 and 103 points. Ontario finished third in the division with a record of 42-23-3-4 and 92 points.
Ontario are 5-0 in the playoffs, sweeping Bakersfield in the first round and Abbotsford in the second. Coachella Valley defeated Calgary in four games in their second round series.
Coachella Valley lost in the Calder Cup finals last season to the Hershey Bears.
Ontario and Coachella Valley split the season series 4-4.
KEY PLAYERS:
Kole Lind
Lind lead the Firebirds in scoring this season with 65 points in 69 games. He also lead the team in scoring through their trip to the finals last year. He will once again be relied on to provide offense.
Samuel Fagemo
Fagemo had 43 goals and 62 points in 50 games for the Reign this season. His 43 goals were 21 more than the next closest player on the team. He only has one goal so far in the playoffs, he is essential to both the Reign's offense and power play.
GOALTENDING:
Chris Driedger
Driedger has a .920 save percentage through four playoff games after posting a solid .917 and 24-7-7 record through 39 games in the regular season. His NHL experience will be valuable for Coachella Valley.
Erik Portillo
The 23-year-old had a great first pro season after leaving Michigan, posting a .918 save percentage and a 24-11-3 record. He currently leads the Calder Cup playoffs with a 1.20 GAA and .956 save percentage.
