

The Coachella Valley Firebirds defeated the Milwaukee Admirals 3-1 Friday night to extend their series lead in the Western Conference Finals.
The Firebirds have now allowed only two goals in the series, holding Milwaukee's high-powered offense in check.
Coachella Valley opened the scoring 28 seconds into the game and escaped the first period with a 2-0 lead despite being outshot 14-10. They then controlled played in the second, outshooting Milwaukee 16-8, before a scoreless third period.
Milwaukee went 0/3 on the powerplay and could not convert on several high-danger chances.
Chris Driedger continued his stellar play, making 31 saves and raising his playoff save percentage to .933. Troy Grosenick stopped 31 of 34 shots against.
Kole Lind, Andrew Poturalski, and Ryker Evans scored for the Firebirds, Ozzy Wiesblatt scored the lone goal for the Admirals.
Game 3 goes Tuesday at 7pm in Milwaukee.
