Dalibor Dvorsky Recalled By St. Louis Blues

The Colorado Avalanche announced they have signed forward Taylor Makar to a one-year entry level contract beginning in 2025-26. 

Makar will join the AHL's Colorado Eagles on an Amateur Tryout for the remainder of the season. 

The 24-year-old recorded 18 goals 30 points in 38 games for the University of Maine Black Bears this season.

Younger brother of Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar, Taylor was originally selected in the seventh round of the 2021 NHL draft by Colorado.

The Calgary, Alta., native played three seasons and won Hockey East in 2022 with the UMass Minutemen before transferring to Maine, he notched 33 goals and 52 points in 123 career NCAA games.
