
The Colorado Eagles announced they have hired Mark Letestu as the team's new head coach.
Letestu has spent the past four seasons an assistant coach with the Cleveland Monsters, helping the team to a 136-117-23-16 record and a Conference Finals berth in 2024.
The 40-year-old has also worked as a development coach with the Columbus Blue Jackets in that time.
In a lengthy playing career Letestu recorded 184 points in 255 AHL games and 210 points in 567 career NHL games.
The Elk Point, Alta., native spent two seasons as an assistant captain with the Blue Jackets and a season as an assistant with the Monsters in 2018-19.
