The Colorado Eagles announced they have re-signed forward Jake Wise to a one-year AHL contract for the 2025-26 season.

Wise recorded 16 goals and 35 points in 56 games this season before adding two goals in eight Calder Cup Playoff games.

Originally a third round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks in 2018, Wise signed with the Charlotte Checkers in 2023 after five NCAA seasons split between Boston University and Ohio State University. He notched 84 points in 125 career NCAA appearances. He was a Big Ten Conference Second Team All-Star and Sportsmanship Award winner in the 2022-23 season with the Buckeyes.

The 25-year-old has 23 goals and 58 points in 110 career AHL games split between Colorado, Charlotte, and the Chicago Wolves.

After a career best season Wise will likely take on more responsibility with the Eagles next season.
