    The Colorado Eagles announced they have signed forward and 2025 Calder Cup champion Tristen Nielsen to a one-year AHL contract. 

    Nielsen recorded 15 goals and 28 points in 67 games with the Abbotsford Canucks last season before adding five goals and nine points in 24 playoff games to help the team capture the Calder Cup. 

    The 25-year-old has 52 goals and 115 points in 231 career regular season AHL games and 17 points in 36 Calder Cup Playoff games, all with the Canucks. 

    The Fort St. John, B.C., native originally signed a contract with teh Canucks after a five year WHL career split between the Calgary Hitmen and Vancouver Giants that saw him post 82 goals and 175 points in 241 games.
