AHL Graduates Making Difference In NHL

The Detroit Red Wings announced they have signed forward Eduards Tralmaks to a one-year, two-way contract for the 2025-26 season.

Tralmaks led the Czech Extraliga in scoring in the regular season finishing with 23 goals, 28 assists, and 51 points in 48 games for Rytiri Kladno.

The deal will pay him $775,000 at the NHL level and $225,000 at the AHL level per PuckPedia

The 28-year-old played four years at the University of Maine before joining the Providence Bruins on an AHL contract in 2022.

In 87 career AHL games Tralmaks recorded 22 goals and 41 points. He also notched four goals and seven points in a three game stint with the ECHL's Maine Mariners.

The Riga, Latvia, native has represented his country at several levels including the 2024 Men's World Championship and the Olympic Game Qualification tournament earlier this season.

There has been no official update on whether or not Tralmaks will play for the Grand Rapids Griffins this season but he could join the team on an Amateur Tryout as Kladno did not qualify for the Extraliga playoffs.
