

Former San Diego Gulls General Manager and Anaheim Ducks Assistant General Manager Rob DiMaio has joined the Ottawa Senators as Director of Player Personnel and Professional Scouting.
Prior to his time with the Ducks franchise DiMaio spent 13 years with the St. Louis Blues, serving as a pro scout, Director of Professional Scouting, and Director of Player Personnel.
He began his front office career as a pro scout with the Dallas Stars after his retirement in 2007.
Originally a sixth round pick of the New York Islanders in the 1987 NHL draft, DiMaio played 17 seasons in the NHL with seven different franchises. He played 894 games and registered 277 points.
DiMaio won two Memorial Cups as a player with the Kamloops Blazers and a Calder Cup with the Springfield Indians in 1990.
He will now play a key role in the helping the Senators build a contender.
