Forward Michael Brandsegg-Nygard has been reassigned by the Detroit Red Wings to  their AHL affiliate team, the Grand Rapids Griffins.

You may recall he was brought up to Detroit on Mar. 7 under emergency conditions.

Since then, he had played three games for the Red Wings, going scoreless while producing three shots on goal.
