The Hartford Wolf Pack have set a new AHL record for fastest consecutive goals after scoring two goals in 2.8 seconds against the Belleville Bulls.
Both goals were empty netters. The first was scored by Nathan Sucese on a shot down the ice before Connor Mackey scored from his own blueline 2.8 seconds later after a clean face-off win by Jake Leschyshyn on the ensuing draw.
The two goals helped Hartford beat Belleville 4-1, they are now 24-27-5-2 on the season.
