     The Hershey Bears announced they have signed forward Patrick Guzzo and defenseman John Fusco to one-year AHL contracts for the 2025-26 season. 

    Guzzo notched 16 points in 36 games while serving as captain with Ohio State University and zero points in three games with the Manitoba Moose last season. 

    The 23-year-old amassed 34 goals and 62 points in 174 career NCAA games over five seasons with Ohio State. He was team captain for the previous two seasons and won the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award in 2025. 

    Fusco recorded 11 goals and 21 points in 32 games with Dartmouth College last season. 

    A seventh round selection of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2020, Fusco's rights with Toronto expired on Aug. 15.

    The 24-year-old finished his NCAA career with 22 goals and 51 points in 112 games. He spent one season at Harvard University before transferring to Dartmouth.
