The Coachella Valley Firebirds announced they have signed forward Jackson Berezowski to a one-year AHL contract for the 2024-25 season.
Berezeowski spent last season with the Newfoundland Growlers of the ECHL where he recorded 18 goals and 36 assists in 59 games, winning Rookie of the Month in October. He also appeared in one game for the Toronto Marlies.
Prior to his time in the ECHL the 22-year-old served as captain for the WHL's Everett Silvertips for two seasons. In five years with the Silvertips Berezowski recorded 130 goals and 232 points in 273 games.
The Yorkton, SK, native is the leading goal scorer in Everett franchise history. He was a two-time WHL US First All-Star Team member.
A high-energy player who was nearly a point-per-game in his first professional season, Berezowski will be surrounded by a great group of forwards to learn from with Coachella Valley in his first AHL season.
