Carolina Hurricanes forward Jackson Blake was added to their AHL affiliate Chicago Wolves' roster, per the AHL's transactions page

Blake played 10:57 and registered one shot in Carolina's first game of the season against Tampa Bay.

The 21-year-old was a fourth round selection of the Hurricanes in 2021. He joined the team last season and played one game after recording 60 points in 40 games in his second season with the University of North Dakota.

Carolina's next game comes Tuesday against New Jersey and we will see if Blake is in the lineup.

This could be a "paper transaction", or could be an opportunity for Blake to get playing more playing time, there has been no official announcement from Carolina or Chicago.

Blake appeared to male the Hurricanes out of camp so it would be somewhat strange for him to be sent down after one game.
