
The Laval Rocket announced they have re-signed Laurent Dauphin to a two-year, one-way AHL deal that runs through the 2026-27 season.
Dauphin led Laval with 26 goals and finished second on the team with 56 points in 63 games this season, he has four goals and eight points through six playoff games so far this spring.
The 30-year-old recorded 38 points in 44 games with HC Ambri-Piotta of the Swiss NL last season before returning to North America and signing with the Rocket in July 2024.
Originally a second round pick of the Arizona Coyotes in 2013, Dauphin has eight goals and 17 points in 94 career NHL games with the Coyotes and Montreal Canadiens.
This is the second stint with the Rocket for Dauphin who was a member of the team from 2020-2022. He has 127 goals and 277 points in 427 career AHL games with Laval, the Tucson Roadrunners, and Milwaukee Admirals.
Dauphin has formed a dynamic top line with Alex Barre-Boulet and Sean Farrell this season.
