    Manitoba Moose Forward Mark Liwiski Suspended Three Games For Physical Abuse Of An Official

    Manitoba Moose forward Mark Liwiski has been suspended three games for physical abuse of an official. 

    The incident occurred in a game against the Chicago Wolves on Mar. 13. 

    Liwiski's actions fall under AHL Rule 40.4 Category III after he received a 10 minute game misconduct for abuse of an official. 

    He will be eligible to return for Manitoba's game against the Abbotsford Canucks on Mar. 21.

    The 23-year-old has three goals, six points and 133 penalty minutes in 36 games this season. He has four goals, eight points and 159 penalty minutes in 45 career AHL games.
