Harvey-Pinard underwent surgery for a broken leg in July, recorded 10 points in 45 games with the Canadiens last season

The Montreal Canadiens announced they have sent forward Rafael Harvey-Pinard to the Laval Rocket on a long-term injury conditioning loan.

Harvey-Pinard missed training camp and the beginning of the season after undergoing surgery for a broken leg in July.

The 25-year-old recorded 10 points in 45 games with the Canadiens last season.

Long-term injury conditioning loans last for six days or three games, whichever occurs first. Harvey-Pinard can appear in Laval's games on Nov. 20, 22, and 23 before the loan expires.

A seventh round selection in the 2019 draft, Harvey-Pinard last played in the AHL in the 2022-23 season and notched 16 goals and 31 points in 40 games. He has 107 points in 145 career AHL games.
