

The Ontario Reign defeated the Abbotsford Canucks 4-3 Wednesday night to complete their 3-0 series sweep in the Pacific Division Semifinals, becoming the second team to advance to the third round of the Calder Cup Playoffs.
Ontario are the lone undefeated team in the Calder Cup Playoffs after sweeping Bakersfield in round one and Abbotsford in round two.
The Reign put on a defensive clinic, outscoring the Canucks 11-4 throughout the three games.
Ontario took a 3-1 victory in Game 1, recorded a 4-0 shutout in Game 2, and closed it out with a 4-3 win in Game 3.
T.J. Tynan, Tyler Madden, Samuel Fagemo, Taylor Ward and Joe Hicketts each had three points in the series to lead the Reign, while Erik Portillo posted a .950 save percentage.
The Reign's depth has been apparent, they have eight players who have recorded at least four points in the playoffs, while Portillo leads all qualified starters with a .956 save percentage.
Ontario will play the winner of the Coachella Valley Firebirds and Calgary Wranglers series. They split the regular season series against Coachella Valley 4-4 and and went 5-3 against Calgary.
