
Hershey Bears forward Pierrick Dube and Rochester Americans defenseman Nikita Novikov have been received suspensions by The American Hockey League’s Player Safety Committee.
Dube received a five game suspension for his actions in a game against the Charlotte Checkers on Jan. 11.
The 24-year-old was suspended under AHL Rule 40.4 for physical abuse of an official (Category III). He was assessed a roughing penalty and 10 minute game misconduct on the play.
Novikov was suspended one-game for a cross-check to the face of Syracuse Crunch defenseman Declan Carlile in a Jan. 11 game.
The 21-year-old was assessed a five minute major for cross-checking and a 10 minute game misconduct.
