

Rochester Americans goaltender Devon Levi has been named AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Feb. 23.
Levi recorded two shutouts and two wins last week, stopping 56 shots and all five shootout attempts he faced.
The 23-year-old made 26 saves and shutout the Cleveland Monsters 4-0 on Feb. 19 before making 30 saves in regulation and overtime against the Toronto Marlies and stopping all five shootout shots he faced on Feb. 22 to backstop Rochester to a 1-0 win.
The Americans now sit a top the AHL with 33 wins and 70 points.
A native of Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Que., Levi's stat line is up to a 18-6-2 record with .918 SP, 2.17 GAA and five shutouts. He also has two assists.
Levi is making a strong case for another stretch of NHL games, he has appeared in nine games for the Sabres this season and posted a 2-7 record with a 4.12 GAA and .872 SP.
Originally a seventh round pick of the Florida Panthers, Levi is a two-time winner of the Mike Richter as the NCAA's top goaltender, represented Canada at the 2022 Olympics, and won a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2023 World Championship.
