The Toronto Maple Leafs announced they have signed AHL All-Star forward Alex Steeves to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 at the NHL level for the 2024-25 season.

Steeves finished third on the Marlies in scoring last season with 27 goals and 57 points in 65 games, earning him a spot in the AHL All-Star game.

The 24-year-old has 154 career points with the Marlies, placing him fifth all-time in franchise points.

The Bedford, NH, native joined the organization after completing his third season at the University of Notre Dame at the end of the 2020-21 season. He was a one-time B1G Champion and one-time conference Second-Team All-Star.
