The Vancouver Canucks announced they have recalled forward Arshdeep Bains and sent defenseman Elias Pettersson to their AHL affiliate Abbotsford Canucks.

Bains scored his first career NHL goal earlier this season and has played in eight games for Vancouver, averaging 11:30 of time on ice per game. He has four points in four games with Abbotsford.

Pettersson has four points in 15 games with Abbotsford this season, he was recalled yesterday.

Vancouver announced that J.T. Miller will be taking an indefinite leave of absence from the team for personal reasons, likely contributing to these moves.
