    Atley Calvert, Gabe Klassen, and Jack Beck

    The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced that they have signed Atley Calvert, Gabe Klassen, and Jack Beck to AHL contracts.

    Calvert and Klassen's deals are two years and run through the 2025-26 season, Beck signed a one-year deal for the 2024-25 season.

    Calvert had 47 goals and 95 points in 68 games for the WHL's Moose Jaw Warriors this season, taking home the WHL Championship. He had 220 points in 237 career WHL games. He made the WHL East Second All-Star Team in this season.

    Beck lead the OHL's Soo Greyhounds with 85 points in 67 games this season, finishing with 201 points in 204 career OHL games. He was originally drafted in the sixth round of the 2021 NHL draft by the Calgary Flames. 

    Klassen comes to Wilkes-Barre from the WHL's Portland Winterhawks who he has captained for the last two seasons. He lead the Winterhawks in scoring with 106 points in 67 games. He was a two-time WHL (US) First team All-Star, he finished with 265 points in 248 career WHL games.

    All three players look to help Wilkes-Barre/Scranton offensively after the Penguins finished 23rd in goal scoring this season.
