Zajicek had a 15-13 record with a 2.12 GAA, .930 SP and five shutouts with HC Litvinov of the Czech Extraliga this season, leading the league in save percentage. The contract will pay Zajicek $872,000 at the NHL level. The 23-year-old has a 36-48 record with a .912 SP and 2.68 GAA in 90 career Czech Extraliga appearances. Jeremy Swayman and Joonas Korpisalo are under contract with the Bruins through 2027-28 while Providence goaltenders Michael DiPietro [https://thehockeynews.com/ahl/latest-news/providence-bruins-michael-dipietro-wins-aldege-baz-bastien-memorial-award] and Brandon Bussi are both pending UFAs, potentially clearing the way for Zajicek to play in the AHL next season.
