The Boston Bruins announced they have signed goaltender Simon Zajicek to a one-year entry-level contract for the 2025-26 season.
Zajicek had a 15-13 record with a 2.12 GAA, .930 SP and five shutouts with HC Litvinov of the Czech Extraliga this season, leading the league in save percentage.
The contract will pay Zajicek $872,000 at the NHL level.
The 23-year-old has a 36-48 record with a .912 SP and 2.68 GAA in 90 career Czech Extraliga appearances.
Jeremy Swayman and Joonas Korpisalo are under contract with the Bruins through 2027-28 while Providence goaltenders Michael DiPietro and Brandon Bussi are both pending UFAs, potentially clearing the way for Zajicek to play in the AHL next season.
