NHL Insiders reveal Four Nations Face-Off withholding name of National Anthem singer ahead of Canada U.S. matchup

The Four Nations Face-Off has already created massive buzz in the hockey world after a pair of exciting opening round robin games. The action picks up once again Saturday with a pair of thrilling matchups including a storied rivalry between Canada and the United States.

Each team will be looking for any edge they can get and one for Canada may come before the game.

On Friday, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman revealed on his podcast "32 Thoughts" thatthere was to be a celebrity singing the national anthems ahead of the Canada U.S. matchup and no one knows who it is.

"Have you noticed that they've refused to say who is doing the anthem on Saturday night," Friedman asked co-host Kyle Bukauskas "We've asked and they said it's a secret."

Friedman and company went over ideas for who the mystery artist could be with a background producer of the podcast suggesting Celine Dion being a possibility. Dion was in attendance at last year's NHL draft and took part by presenting the Montreal Canadiens' first round pick, Ivan Demidov.

Dion's presence at the game with a Montreal crowd should produced a thunderous pop for the ages and would give Canada a jolt of energy much like their thrilling first period versus Sweden on Wednesday.

Canada and the United States are both listed at -110 in this matchup with Canada listed at -166 to score a first period goal. There is no doubt that whoever this mystery guest is, they will likely get a sizeable reaction from the Saturday night Montreal crowd and should almost certainly push Team Canada to score at least once like Finland scored first in their matchup versus the United States on Thursday.
