This seems more like the series we all expected. A closer, competitive, back and forth series. Dallas took the first three blows and needed heroics from Robertson and Pavelski to get off the mat in Game 4. They went back to Vegas and won 4-2 in one of the best playoff atmospheres in the league. Now, it's Game 6.
Jake Oettinger is 4-1 when facing elimination with a .949 SV%. That's exactly the goaltending Dallas will need tonight as I'm expecting a desperate Vegas team who won't want this to go seven games. Vegas turned the puck over 24 times in Game 5, stifling their offence and making Oettinger's life easier. I don't expect that to be the case tonight and the shots totals have seen a significant uptick in the last 3 games. I'm taking Oettinger over 26.5 saves. If Dallas is going to tie this series up, they may need 30+ saves.
There are a few shot props to look at with the uptick in shots. Shea Theodore has been firing from the backend, and has gone over his number in 4 of his last 5 games. There is value on him at over 1.5 shots tonight. Roope Hintz has been a consistent shooter for Dallas all spring and there's no reason to think that will stop. His line sits at 2.5 shots, a line he's cleared in 4 of his last 5 outings. If you're feeling adventurous, I'd consider playing that up to 4+ shots at plus money.
