The San Jose Sharks fought very hard for their 1-0 victory over the New Jersey Devils Sunday and was an easy win on the puck line. They once again provide us with another solid pick for the Pad Stack Challenge as we focus on making a serious run.
If you aren’t familiar, the Pad Stack Challenge is an open betting strategy that uses the concept of building our bank and rolling over our profits. We do this by stacking our winnings through well-researched picks given out daily that will hopefully build our bank. Our current bank total is $21.40 due to the Sharks win on Sunday.
All betting lines are from Bet365 and are subject to change. Hockey is a difficult sport to predict so please gamble responsibly.
Bet: Flyers -1.5 (+105)
San Jose fought their way to secure their first shutout win since last March, thanks to netminder Mackenzie Blackwood's 44-save performance. It was a very hard, gruelling game and will see the Sharks now move their focus towards turning the page and continuing their road trip the very next night when taking on the Flyers in Philadelphia.
The last time San Jose has won both games of a road back-to-back, not including the COVID season, was five seasons ago in February of 2020. Since that game, they've secured a 48-95-21 record and a -178 goal differential on the road.
This could not possibly be a worse spot for the Sharks, so we feel very confident in a Flyers win here and hope we can hopefully have it happen convincingly with two or more goals difference.
If we roll our bank on the Flyers, our new total would be $43.87 heading into Tuesday.
