The favourites to win the tournament is the United States at +150 but Canada is just behind at +160 odds. Sweden and Finland are listed at a great value with odds at +410 and +850 respectively.

Bets are also available for likely starting goaltenders with each team having a heavy favorite in Connor Hellebuyck for the United States (-295), Jordan Binnington for Team Canada (-184), Filip Gustavsson for Sweden (-230) and Juuse Saros for Finland (-310).

    Sweden: Victor Hedman

There's no surprise that the Lightning's new captain is also the captain for his nation of Sweden. The towering defenceman will lead the team along with Toronto Maple Leaf William Nylander, Edmonton Oilers Mattias Ekholm and Pittsburgh Penguin Erik Karlsson as the assistants.

    Finland: Aleksander Barkov

Another obvious choice as Finland gives the "C" to the captain of the reigning Stanley Cup Champions. Barkov will be joined in the leadership group with San Jose Shark Mikael Granlund and Carolina Hurricanes Sebastian Aho and Mikko Rantanen.

    Canada: Sidney Crosby

The legendary moment of Crosby scoring the golden goal will always be remembered and makes him an obvious choice to captain the northern nation once again. Crosby will be headlining an elite leadership group with the likes of Connor McDavid and Cale Makar as the assistant captains.
