The Dallas Stars signed Matt Duchene to a one-year deal, adding him to their high flying forward group.

The Dallas Stars, a legitimate Stanley Cup threat, inked Matt Duchene to a 1 year, $3 million deal. Duchene, who was bought out by Nashville, joins an offensive group the features Jason Robertson, Rope Hintz, Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn.

This is a really smart bet by the Stars. Paying a great, second line centre, three million dollars is unheard of in today's NHL. Duchene is ore than capable of a 30 goal, 60 point season this year. Rachel and Mike discuss the ripple effect on the Dallas lineup.
