-With a record of 19 wins, 9 losses, and 5 overtime losses, the Kings have managed to secure all their wins in regulation, with only one shootout loss against the Chicago Blackhawks in early November. As the season progresses toward April, the competition will intensify, and games are likely to be decided by two goals or fewer.

-The Kings' powerplay woes were on full display Tuesday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins. After scoring just 33 seconds into the game, the Kings had a couple of first-period man-advantage opportunities to press their foot down on the Penguins' throat.
They squandered those and let the momentum drift from their even strength sails.

-The Duo of Kopitar and Kempe has been the best on the roster, which is vindicated by their combined 22 goals, 38 assists, 60 points, and a plus +28. In 29 games, there's very little to complain about from those two. However, they have yet to find a full-time third member of that line.
