The Western Conference Finals for the 2024 ECHL Playoffs are set. The top two seeds, Kansas City Mavericks and Toledo Walleye, will play a best-of-seven series to earn a spot in the Kelly Cup Finals.

Both teams made it to the Conference Finals after winning their respective series in overtime. Kansas City eliminated Idaho in five games on Cade Borchardt's goal in the extra session. Meanwhile, Toledo swept Wheeling after Riley Sawchuk scored in overtime.

This will be the Mavericks' first time in the Conference Finals since the 2012-13 season, and the first time since becoming members of the ECHL.

On the other hand, Toledo is returning to the Conference Finals for the fourth consecutive non-COVID-impacted season. Last year, the Walleye lost in five games to Idaho. Toledo will look to extend their impressive 22-game winning streak.
