Toledo Walleye forward Brady Gilmour has signed with the Pioneers Vorarlberg team in Austria for the 2024-25 season

After a seven-game sample size during the regular season, the Toledo Walleye are losing forward Brady Gilmour. The 25-year-old has signed with the Pioneers Vorarlberg out of Austria for the 2024-25 season.

The Cobourg, Ontario, native, originally drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the seventh round, 193rd overall, of the 2017 NHL Draft, joined the Walleye in late March after five years at the University of New Brunswick. As a senior, Gilmour recorded 41 points on 12 goals and 29 assists in 30 games played.

With the Walleye, the forward recorded his first point, an assist, in just his second game. Gilmour tallied his first ECHL goal in his fourth game. Overall, he finished with three points in seven regular-season games and added an assist in 14 postseason games as well.

Gilmour becomes the third ECHL player to sign with Pioneers Vorarlberg in the last several days, joining Kalamazoo's David Keefer and Josh Passolt.
