With Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals set to be played tonight we booted up NHL 24 and simulated the game to see if the Oilers could tie the series or if Florida would jump out to a 2-0 series lead.
Our series simulation predicted Florida winning the Stanley Cup in seven games.
Florida were able to make the most of home ice advantage in this simulation and take the game 3-2, putting them up 2-0 in the series.
We left Evander Kane in the lineup despite questions over his health and inserted Sam Carrick for Corey Perry. We left Florida's lines the same as Game 1.
