    Drummondville Forward is third CHL player to reach 99

    Drummondville Voltigeurs forward Ethan Gauthier has become the seventh player in NHL 24 Hockey Ultimate Team to earn a 99 overall card. 

    The 37th overall draft pick by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2023 NHL draft, Gauthier has 36 goals and 71 points this season, his third in the QMJHL.

    The 19-year-old's card has 99 in every category except for endurance and fighting skill.

    He comes with the Shnipe Zone Ability, three synergies and five Superstar Abilities, including Unstoppable Force and Elite Edges.

    Gauthier, Juuse Saros and Mathew Barzal all reached 99 overall hours apart from each other last week, leaving Bowen Byram, Teuvo Teravainen and Alexis Lafreniere at 97 overall the next most likely players to reach the milestone.
