Annual season opening roster update live now, Rutger McGroarty and Seamus Casey added
The first roster update is now live in NHL 25.
This is the annual season opening roster update that adds missing NCAA and KHL prospects.
Players that have been added include Rutger McGroarty, Maxim Tsyplakov, Nikolai Kovalenko, Seamus Casey, and Victor Mancini. Their attributes are pictured below.

Additionally, Johnny Gaudreau was removed from the Columbus Blue Jackets roster.
Many AHL rookies that are former NCAA or KHL players have yet to be added to the game.
The early season roster moves have been made, including Kaapo Kahkonen to Colorado and Cole Schwindt to Vegas.
EA did not release a complete list of who was added or any overall changes, so check back with this article for updates if they publish the changes they made.
