Can the Rangers go up 3-0 in NHL 24?
With the New York Rangers up 2-0 in their series against the Carolina Hurricanes we simulated Game 3 in NHL 24 to see if they could put a stranglehold on the series.
Our series simulation predicted Carolina winning in seven games, while our Game 2 simulation saw the Hurricanes win 2-0.
The Hurricanes were able to take this game 2-1 on an overtime goal by Stefan Noesen, getting themselves back into the series.
The Rangers kept the same lines as Game 2 while the Hurricanes started Pyotr Kochetkov over Frederik Andersen. We used these lines from The Hockey News' Ryan Henkel.

Ice time does not get distributed well in NHL 24 CPU games, in this game Brent Burns played 61 minutes while overtime hero Noesen played just under five minutes.
Kochetkov did his job in his first start of the series stopping 17 of 18 shots he faced. Shesterkin also played well, stopping multiple odd-man rushes.
Sebatian Aho and Jack Roslovic were the other two goal scorers.
