EA Sports NHL added a tribute to Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau on the NHL 24 home screen and in Hockey Ultimate Team. 

The hockey world continues to mourn after Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau were killed after being struck by a car while riding bicycles on Thursday night in Oldsman Township, N.J.

CBS Philadelphia reported the driver admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages prior to and while driving, 43-year-old Sean Higgins was charged with two counts of death by auto.

Yesterday EA Sports postponed the release of the NHL 25 gameplay deep dive in light of the tragedy.

In addition to the tribute, Gaudreau items will no longer be available in packs and his price ranges will be locked. HUT releases are also temporarily paused.

Given the tragedy it would be great to see some kind of tribute or alternate cover in NHL 25 that includes the brothers.
