Simulating if the Leafs can even up the series in NHL 24

Looking for some insight into Game 4 of Toronto Maple Leafs versus Boston Bruins series? We simulated the game in NHL 24.

The Leafs were all over Boston for most of this game but only narrowly won the game on a William Nylander overtime winner.

Our simulation of Game 3 predicted a 3-1 Boston win, so it was not entirely accurate but was on the right track. Our series simulation predicted a 4-1 Leafs victory.

We decided to leave Jeremy Swayman in Boston's net, but both he and Linus Ullmark are rated 90 overall in NHL 24. We kept the same Bruins lines from Game 3.

We inserted Nylander for Connor Dewar and T.J. Brodie for Timothy Liljegren in the Toronto lineup.

Brad Marchand continued to be a thorn in Toronto's side, notching a primary assist on Brandon Carlo's goal.

Swayman stood on his head this simulation, his diving stop on Max Domi was the highlight of his 26 saves.

Nylander recorded a primary assist and the overtime winner in his first game of the playoffs after missing the first three games of the series.
