Vegas Golden Knights vs Dallas Stars Game 7 Prediction

Simulating Vegas vs. Dallas Game 7 in NHL 24. Can Dallas get revenge for last year's Western Conference Final? Or is it the start of another cup run for Vegas?

Simulating Vegas vs. Dallas Game 7 in NHL 24

We have another Game 7 in store tonight in the NHL Playoffs. The reigning Stanley Cup Champions will look to avoid getting bounced in the first round by the team they knocked out in the Western Conference Finals last season.

On May 29, 2023, at the American Airlines Center, Vegas defeated the Stars by a score of 6-0 to send them to the Stanley Cup Final and Dallas to the golf course. Can the Stars get their revenge?

Our NHL 24 series simulation had the Vegas Golden Knights completing the reverse sweep against Dallas and winning Game 7 5-4 in overtime.

Here's a breakdown of our NHL 24-game simulations from this series alongside the real-life outcomes.

    Game 1
    NHL 24: 3-1 Dallas
    Real life: 4-3 Vegas

    Game 2
    NHL 24: 4-0 Dallas
    Real life: 3-1 Vegas

    Game 3
    NHL 24: 3-2 Dallas
    Real life: 3-2 (OT) Dallas

    Game 4
    NHL 24: 4-3 Dallas
    Real life: 4-2 Dallas

    Game 5
    NHL 24: 10-2 Vegas
    Real life: 3-2 Dallas

    Game 6
    NHL 24: 2-0 Dallas
    Real life: 2-0 Vegas

NHL 24 has guessed the correct score in this series twice in Games 3 and 6 (although Game 6 wasn't the correct winner) but has only predicted the correct winner in two games.

Well just like it was last night between Toronto vs. Boston in their Game 7, EA is predicting another low-scoring game and a defensive clinic.

The game was goal-less through two periods before Matt Duchene broke the stalemate with a breakaway goal that ended up being the only goal scored in this contest.

Dallas outshot Vegas 27-23 and both teams combined for 0/6 on the powerplay.

Dallas Head Coach Pete DeBoer announced earlier today that Radek Faksa will be in for Ty Dellandrea. Below are the lines we used for our simulation.

    Dallas Projected Lines:

    Robertson - Hintz - Pavelski
    Benn - Johnston - Stankoven
    Dadonov - Duchene - Seguin
    Steel - Faksa - Smith

    Harley - Heiskanen

    Suter - Lundkvist

    Vegas Projected Lines:
