20 players receive upgrades
Twenty players from the 2024 IIHF Women's World Championship received Team of The Week Cards in NHL 24 Hockey Ultimate Team.
This massive list of upgrades adds a good amount of elite women's players to HUT, including 14 players who are 92 overall or above.
Six of the new players are American, five are Swedish, four are Finnish, two are Canadian, one Czech, one German and one Japanese.
The Canadians received a release earlier this week for winning the tournament.

Heise, Hiirikoski, Knight, Harvey, and Carpenter all receive upgraded 96 overall cards that are elite. Abstreiter and Ahola are extremely quick goaltenders. Mlynkova and Fast both come with 99 speed and are well-rounded players.
Coyne-Schofield and Murphy are quick and dynamic skaters with good shots. The six players rated 90 overall or below have one stat category that is elite but are not likely to make your roster unless you are building a theme team.
As always it is great to see more women's cards in HUT, especially from countries outside of Canada and the USA.
