Adam Brooks and Joseph Duszak are on the move. The former Toronto hopefuls are swapping European clubs as they navigate new opportunities in Germany and Austria.

It's that time of year where international leagues work on transfers to help improve their rosters, and the latest to jump leagues are former Toronto Maple Leafs prospects Adam Brooks and Joseph Duszak.

Yesterday, according to Elite Prospects, both players are set to transfer leagues.

First up, Duszak's transfer has been completed. He is leaving HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in the KHL and joining the Straubing Tigers in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).

In 39 games last season split between Nizhnekamsk and the Shanghai Dragons, he had 13 assists and zero goals.

As for Brooks, his transfer has yet to be confirmed but is expected to happen. He is reportedly leaving the EHC München in the DEL to join the EC Salzburg, based in Austria, in the ICE Hockey League (ICEHL).

Last season, he had 12 goals and 26 assists for 38 points in 38 games as well as a goal and six assists in 10 playoffs.

Both players were a part of the Maple Leafs' organization. Unfortunately, their time with the club didn't play out as many would have hoped, and they headed overseas to continue their playing career.
