
Fresh off a dominant World Championship performance, Norwegian standout Tinus Luc Koblar joins powerhouse Rögle BK, securing his future in Sweden after a standout draft year for Toronto.
Toronto Maple Leafs' prospect Tinus Luc Koblar has found a new home for the 2026-27 season.
While lighting it up at the 2026 IIHF World Hockey Championships in Switzerland. Koblar's agent was working behind the scenes to land him a spot on Rögle BK in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).
Last season, he played for Leksands IF in the SHL, and had eight goals and six assists for 14 points in 47 games. Which ranked 10th amongst skaters on the team.
Unfortunately, Leksands IF lost to HV71 in a relegation series, which left Koblar searching for a new team.
He now joins Rögle BK, which was the fourth-best team in the SHL and went all the way to the finals before losing to Skellefteå AIK.
Koblar, 18, was drafted by the Maple Leafs in the second round of the 2025 NHL Draft. The Norwegian forward has been showing just how good he can be at the Worlds this month. He has scored three goals and two assists, In just five games for Norway. While keeping them in games and putting his name on the map. Proving why the Maple Leafs drafted him with the 64th pick.
