Game day 4 concludes with six more games. Among them was an amazing comeback win for Unia Oświęcim, the Sheffield Steelers’ third win in four games and ZSC Lions Zurich falling to visiting Red Bull Salzburg. As a result, Färjestad Karlstad from Sweden is the only unbeaten team remaining.

KAC Klagenfurt (AUT) 4 – Unia Oświęcim (POL) 5

On home ice, Klagenfurt led 4-1 early in the third period before a monstrous collapse saw the Polish champs score three goals in 2:25 to tie it before Hampus Olsson scored the winner with 4:05 to play. With the regulation win, Oświęcim now has five points but the loss is a serious blow to Klagenfurt, which is still stuck on three.

ZSC Lions Zurich (SUI) 2 – Red Bull Salzburg (AUT) 4

Salzburg went into Zurich and built up a 4-0 lead over the previously unbeaten Lions after 26 minutes, then weathered the storm to win 4-2. David Kickert stopped 29 of 31 shots. The loss is the first blemish on the Lions’ record but they still have nine points, while the win puts Salzburg in good shape with eight.

Straubing Tigers (GER) 3 – Dynamo Pardubice (CZE) 2

Pardubice led 2-1 after two periods, but Straubing scored twice on the powerplay in the third for the win in their last home game of the regular season. Straubing now has eight points while Pardubice, who started with a pair of convincing home wins, got only one point from their two-game German road trip and has seven.

Sheffield Steelers (GBR) 3 – Skellefteå AIK (SWE) 2

The Steelers' dream CHL campaign continues with their third win in four games, giving them eight points to sit firmly in playoff contention. Tied 2-2 after one period, Mark Simpson scored the game-winner in the second. The Steelers outshot the Swedish champs 34-24.

Sønderjyske Vojens (DEN) 2 – Lahti Pelicans (FIN) 4

Two Leevi Tukiainen power-play goals helped Lahti build up a 4-0 lead before the Danish champs pushed back with two third-period markers. The win puts the Pelicans right on the edge of the playoff cut-off line while Sønderjyske is still at zero and won’t advance past the regular season.

Eisbären Berlin (GER) – Sparta Prague (CZE)

For the second straight game, Sparta outshot its opponents on the road but came up empty. This time they ran into Eisbären goaltender Jake Hildebrand, who made 36 saves for the shutout. Sparta is now in trouble with just four points and Berlin, thanks to back-to-back home wins over Czech opponents, is at eight.
